Some Cultural Differences I Have Noticed/Experienc

... to say, but now I
understand. French people say buuuh, and Canadians say uhhh.

Now of course there are other
differences I have noticed, but I do not have the time to talk about
them right now. I have a few things to do today as tomorrow is our
first day of holidays! And I need to get ready for that.

I will be on holidays for 2 weeks, so I
don’t know if I’ll do any blogs, but you can keep your eye out if
      you’d like.

on to Montpellier, Marseille, to see Baptiste (Ryan’s exchange
student from when he was in grade 10) Nice, Monaco, and Lyon too, on
      our way back to Rochefort.

Héctor and I would really like to go
to Barcelona, so we will do that the first part of our vacation,
while Dana will be in Bordeaux visiting one of her other friends.
Then we will meet up with Dana in Toulouse. I think it will be ...

Then round the harbour at La Rochelle before arriving at Marsilly overlooking the sea for our first camping overlooking the sunset across the sea; and our first oysters. All in all a very good day. Bon soir. Ps we passed the 1000 mile mark 2 miles before our campsite this ...

... at Fouras. Again it's slightly different to last time as we arrived at 8pm in the dark and pouring rain. The good news is we have all used our overshoes now, so they were worth bringing them. It would have been somewhat later but we caught the last river crossing on the Transbordeur, a magnificent hanging platform which is pulled across on cables between1 two enormous Towers. Anyway we did catch it and are safely camped up at Fouras. Have a look at our dining room! More news to ...

... boat came back. Now on the south side of the
island is where the port is and this is also where the little town is
situated too. There was a museum, that used to be a hotel, maybe
still is a hotel, a church, a couple of shops for all of the
tourists, some restaurants and houses. As I was taking my tour around
the island and across the island there were more houses too in ...
