... stop for me is Villa Carlotta which is a villa and a lovely garden. 9 euro. Back in the boat to Bellagio. Another beautiful town. I have lunch here. I have a buffet which is disappointing. You actually have to use a microwave to heat things if you want them hot. Didn't realise this to start with. You can go back 3 times (primo, secondi and dessert). Cost 15euro including a glass of wine. Back on the boat ...

We left Innsbruck and made our way towards Bellagio with the GPS sending us via St Moritz. Of course Lou was a bit worried about whether the road would be open all the way and how Sophie would cope. This was the quickest way and cut out about 2 hours so we took the gamble.
The driving between mountains was ...

... and there was still time before sunset so we could enjoy the scenery on our way to the town.

Once safely on board the bus, our worries for the day would be gone. Any anxious thoughts about where to go, what train we were on and what we were doing were now over. A short bus ride and we would finally be in Bellagio, in our hotel and finally in bed for a good night’s sleep ready to explore the town tomorrow.

What we didn’t count on ...
