... on the beach to cap off the day. Day two in the French Riviera,  we headed in to Nice proper and wow was it stunning! I'm not much of a beach person but this is next level! ... love those points!) The hotels is located with a fantastic view of the city and the Pyrenees in the distance. The mountains were still snow capped and I snapped many photos from the highway as well as the hotel.

The hotel also has a wonderful restaurant so we enjoyed a lovely lunch and dinner there as well as a continental breakfast before we were on the road again.

... type of wealth, and it might be fun to try out that lifestyle for a while.But the last three weeks have offered us wealth of a different kind - the joy of making discoveries together along cobbled passageways, in markets and boulangeries and village squares. ... to see him pull a soaking wet wallet from his shorts pocket, I found it very hard to hold back the laughter. Don't worry though he left all the notes and cards out to dry in the sun and so far it hasn't been a problem. Apart from that we had a lot of fun, it was nice to have a relaxing day lying down rather than arguing over which way we should orientate the map to find our way to the nearest local landmark.
