... to be able to relive again in life. The Alps were beautiful and our friends made it even better. The cable car was interesting and somewhat wobbly. We stopped at the middle of the mountain and took pictures while observing the view. I have to say that the selfie stick surprisingly went a long way here. Following a few of us went to the cable cart and to the top. The views got even better and were again astonishingly ...

The old town (for tourists) is a single quaint street with restaurants, hotels, and craft shops. After a coffee and short walk, we had lunch at Le Chalet de Gruyeres, famous for its fondue. We ordered their specialty fondue - gruyere and vacherin cheeses with white wine, dipping ...

... to take in the views, snap some photos, and make sure we knew where to get off next. Would be a terrible bother to fall asleep on a train and end up at the end of the line in Luzerne. At our change stop in Bern we had about 8 minutes to find the other platform. Everything was labeled in English so it was actually a pretty easy change. We boarded the train to our final destination of Interlaken without much fuss and it would be about a 50 minute journey from ...
