... ever really capture that...

There are 57 people in my program, participating in Physics, Public Health, or International Relations (that's me) internships and classes. So, the majority of us, and all of our luggage, were picked up at the airport and brought back to "Muzy," our home away from home. We got to drive past the UN!! Anywho, we live in doubles and triples, each with out own attached bathroom. Each floor has its ...

... but we are getting there.

The trade off is we are in a beautiful environment. Very dry air, and hard water. Altitude also affects the temperature water boils at, and how long things take to cook. Soft boiled egg is 6 minutes. Fortunately there is an App to help with such things. Also means that hangovers can arrive early and hit hard. This will be our last entry for this trip! If you've been reading along - thanks! We have had a wonderful trip and enjoyed the company of good friends Cindy and Ted McCord on these last 2 weeks of it!

Bonsoir for now! (off to have some raclette and tartaflette for dinner!)

24 Hours in Switzerland

... to Geneva was gorgeous! We passed by snow covered mountains, lakes, farms, and small villages that I never would have seen otherwise. Even though the ride is a bit rougher, I think the experience of riding on a train is much less stressful than going to an airport, through security, and then onto a plane. I woke up an hour before my train was scheduled to leave, walked to the lake, and then to the station with plenty of time to spare.
