    Short drive from Avignon to arrive in Nice just before dinner. An hour at hotel and then a walk along the Promenade to a beautiful Greek restaurant for dinner. Drive through Cannes into Nice which was an eye opener for the kids and Ken. People everywhere. Grand Prix was on last weekend in Monte Carlo and Cannes Film festival finished last week so I am expecting this weekend is a lot quieter than last.     Off to the East of Nice today to play with the rich and famous in Monaco, visit the little medieval village of Eze and head across the border into Italy to visit San Remo, because we can.     NO SLEEP FOR ME!! even with pillows over my head, G snoring beside me - he says there are times when it is helpfull to be deaf. Finally silence at 1am....
