... Alison bought a small leather change purse for €2 to replace her stolen wallet. Then it was back to enjoy the pool at the timeshare. We spent a very relaxing day enjoying each others company, sunbathing in the heat of the day, before heading back to Girona airport with Chris & Milly at night, so that they could catch their flight back to London. Our farewells weren’t too teary, as we knew we would see them again in two weeks, in Auckland.

The timeshare (Port de Rei) is situated a short distance out of the town of L'Escala. We drove through town following Dora’s directions, but were not too sure where we were headed, eventually ending up outside a large building built on a rugged coast overlooking the Mediterranean. been eating loads of pain au chocolat and french bread avec cheese so are certainly not wasting away!

I think we may have reversed the bad luck from the gypsy in Granada by helping our a little lady in Seville with her shopping cart and crossign the street - two canadians in Sevilla helping out the locals...

I decided to take a little vacation from my vacation and work on my tan here in Cadaques. The sea, the sun and village wandering take up most of my time. Iīm scheduled to leave here on Monday, but once I realized I could do whatever I wanted, life changed. Maybe that is my inspiration. Como un sueņo.

Arrived Banyuls around 3.30 yesterday afternoon. Spending the next couple of days in Collioure soaking up the sun and relaxing until my flight home on Wednesday. Will plan to update the blog in detail when I arrive home.

... tough to manage cause being seasick makes you re-think all your opinions about the ocean and sailing... Itīs a very hard time to pass... During the second 4hours watch, i reached my limits and was really close to breakdown... Serious hardcore time, puking when you have to be able to act on the boat while everybody else is sleeping, counting on you!
