... we bumped into two cruise buddies who gave us their hop on hop off bus tickets. It would have been rude not to, so we did. We went around once, and Murphy's law was in full force as we didn't stop outside anything we could photograph, so we missed the casino. But we did get to see an awful lot of other things, including the oceanography museum, the cathedral and the Princes car museum, but of course all from the outside, and often at speed :). ... things to look at everywhere you go. The casino was really impressive looking and had the most expensive cars out the front that we saw there. We didn't go in - you properly have to pay just to have a walk around! Once we had finished in Monaco we dragged ourselves away to head into Nice. ... about 6.30pm and checked into our room. We are staying in an 8 bed mixed dorm, with 6 Australians, yay. Happy hour is from 6-8pm and 500ml beers (Ottweiler) are only €1, Brendan was stoked to say the least. Took a walk down to the beach and wandered the boardwalk with many other tourists, bikers, rollerbladers, runners and beach-goers, it was extremely busy considering it was 9pm.
