There are a lot of mountain tunnels to go through on this stretch of road, not our favourite thing to do when you have cars and motorbikes coming up behind you at speed. We leave our rear light on, flashing, all the time, but it's still a bit unnerving to have traffic pass you in a dark tunnel.

Talloires to Lyon to Domme! An early morning taxi ride into Annecy to catch our train to Lyon. It was a two hour scenic trip, some of it trailing a large lake.
