So, I've officially moved to The Alps for around 6 months. It is so cold I can't even believe it and there is no snow. Car unpacked and sold.....26,000km and eight months of loyal service! Now all we have to do is cull all this stuff we have accumulated. We're hoping to find a charity shop in Annecy that will take it all......shoes & clothes, chiller bag, thermos flask, pillows etc etc. The good thing about having a car ...

... morning!

After lunch, all the girls went shopping and the boys went back to the apartment to relax. It wasn't long though, before we all regrouped at the apartment and had to say goodbye to the Bousigue family. They were the most incredible hosts and we now think of them as our 'French family'. We can't thank them enough for everything they did to ensure our trip was truly amazing. We also can't wait for them to visit us in Australia, hopefully some time soon!

... small frozen leaves, twigs and insects in the walls which have probably been there for thousands of years! INCREDIBLE. We did all breathe a sigh of relief once we had climbed back up the 430 stairs and had our feet back on solid ground!!
