... to get over wanting a decent cooked breakfast unless you go for an ex-pay cafe. The hotel breakfast has good potential to be ravished each morning, the staff spend most of the time chatting, it's the Italian way, I've noticed nothing gets in the way of a good chat particularly work ...

... seeing Venice light up for nighttime. After, we had a delicious seafood dinner at a restaurant that had been around since 1510! The shores of Santorini Island that we see are the outer ridges of the caldera and protrude thousands of feet in steep cliffs. Villages are perched on top of the ridges with white washed buildings built into the hills which are punctuated by azure coloured domes. It is a widely photographed location. ...

... yesterday, we headed to some additional sights that piqued our interest and were outside of the mayhem in the Rialto Bridge-St. Mark's Square stretch. Our first stop was the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, which features modern art from the first half of the 20th century. I was quite excited to see this collection, given the amount of art we had seen from other time periods; this would be a nice contrast. The collection includes works by Picasso, Dali, and Pollock; ...
