The day dawned super warm. At 7.30am it was already 20C and the forecast had it increasing by 5C by 8am. The forecast has it sitting at 26C at 7pm tonight so we will have to see how we cope! ... late and rather amusingly traveled directly behind the apartment block we will be staying in. Outside we joined the taxi queue somewhat bemused by the row of taxi cabs parked up without a single driver in and no taxis coming. In true Brit spirit I set off to find an alternative mode of transport or rustle up a taxi driver. After a couple of aborted "excuse mois's" I returned empty handed, to see taxis beginging to show up. We reached the front of the ...

... we travelled in our Honda Civic with top box attached - toward mountainous Besançon. We arrived at our Formule 1 hotel far too late in the evening to catch the wonderful scenery around this area. Ah, but tomorrow is another day!
