... straight down too, with the odd turn! At the bottom this time we went to the La Cha restaurant which was much nicer that the one that we have been having lunch at, but we couldn't possible get there with Marni! We enjoyed another Vin Chaud, which was much better than the first and Brody had a hot chocolate and tasted his sucre block.

... courses. Marni's plan of attack was to point and go, hands on knees, skis parallel and pointed straight to the bottom, perfect skiing style...no snow plough. Her tactic to stop was to yell out for help and one of the instructors would run over and stop her, and teach her the snow plough (again). She was flying down! The instructors were great, by the end of it, she was attempting to snow plough, but was definitely turning toward the rope lift ...

I'm staying, and the lady there was most helpful giving me three different local maps and times for when to expect the cyclists in the Tour de France tomorrow. :-) Saturday July 20th I woke to a lovely sunny morning with clear skies for today's Tour de France from Annecy up the mountain to Semnoz. I enjoyed a buffet breakfast overlooking Lac Annecy and then packed my "sac à velo" (bike bag) for my 2 km ride to Saint-Jorioz. There were heaps of other cyclists ...
