Our tour guide provided a ghostly presence sporting a heavy coating of protective white face cream. Our initial assumption was that this was associated with her leading tours in the cave but she quickly eased our minds telling us that she had recently found out she is allergic to sunlight and that we needn't be worried that there was something in the cave creating her skin condition. Still, it was a pretty ghoulish sight.

... store is in the form of a large barge permanently moored on the side of the canal and was not very large but we managed to pick a couple of things out to help the local economy. For lunch Loobie had squid and risotto cooked in squid ink, Leslie and Caz had a large salad with goats cheese and i had a boot leather sirloin steak which a local dog had a good share of.
