    All is better here. We changed sites..JD 'persuaded' management to let us move. Much better site here, nice neighbors. Amazingly, because we are in a canyon, there is no cell service, no tv reception and limited WiFi. We found a Starbucks with WiFi, got connected, made some calls, feel better. JD had a much needed haircut and then we headed off to find a beach! Drove up to Coronado Beach and spent a couple of hours in the sun. ...

    The train into San Diego was uneventful, probably due to the fact that it was one of the shortest segments of the trip so far and is also a commuter train from LA. It also had wi-fi on board! Met up with Martin and Kim, who were both entrepreneurs and pretty interesting people.     ... A short taxi ride gets us to our hotel and we are set - a quick check in and off we go to have a look round. We quickly establish that there is an Outback Steakhouse across the road so decision made on tonight's dinner - old faves of chicken wings (recurring theme already!!), coconut shrimp and chicken on the barbie were duly ordered.
