      ... would have been $50 ONE WAY!! Decided to drive, which turned out to be for the best as it was Sunday and everything closed pretty early!! Took a walk through Old Town and decided to try our first Root Beer, had a different one each and they were truly disgusted!!       ... but Nev enjoyed a coke and a packet of chips. It was hot and dry in the desert! We saw a wind farm, and a Solar Farm, and a few feed lots for cattle. Then hit some mountains on our way (Rocky?) I had some practise with the Canon, while Nev was driving. Thankfully the GPS was most useful when we got to San Diego, hasn't let us down once!       ... to cool down so a nice ice cream was on the cards.

      The monster truck as virtually empty so we went to fill it up. I tried to swipe my card 3 times and it didn’t work so into the store I go. The attendant asked how much we wanted to fill up so I said no idea as this was the first time. Out I trotted and $109.20 later back to see the attendant I went. The car took 26 gallons of petrol, hope we don’t have to fill her up too much.
