It did rain again last night but it cleared up before we awoke. We went to breakfast and then to a grocery store for a few things we needed. The Walmart we parked at was a 24 hour store but it was dead! There was, however, a large grocery store about a block away was called Meijer that was packed! We decided to check it out. It was laid out just like a Walmart, had the same stuff as Walmart, prices seemed ...
... bridge just completely dropped off in the middle. There was no walking a bike around that. He was preparing to travel the 20 miles back when he spotted a canoe coming down the river. They offered him a ferry ride across, which ended up being pretty wobbly while trying to keep his loaded bike upright. He was lucky they were there! Next, we were lucky enough to get THE LAST SPOT in the entire park! It turns out that there is a motorcycle jamboree going on here this weekend and everybody and their brother are here or will be tomorrow! This place is ...
Our first date back in Ohio! Our jump was only 17 miles this morning which was luxurious compared to the jump across New York a few days ago. The lot is right on the water and within walking distance of a few diners/cafes.
As soon as we parked, John and I walked down to the marina where we hoped to find a restaurant open for breakfast. Alas, there was no such thing, but we met a nice cat who was hanging out on a large rock, watched some boats go into ...
