Today we hopped over to the Disney California Adventure Park. We got let passed the gate before 9am and there didn't seem to be as many people around as yesterday so that was a surprise. As we were let in, we realised that there were a whole bunch of others who had gotten in earlier and that the actual rope to the Main Street of the park hadn't been opened yet. Back to all the rides we loved and a few new rides that we weren't able to go on previously. We were really pleased to see the Nemo submarine ride was back in action. They had been doing repairs on it since January and had plans to axe the ride completely. Apparently the public voted it back so we got to do the underwater submarine adventure too.

We went on rides involving Mater's tractor friends, and Luigi's Tyres then had photos with some Disney characters, (because you have to for a true Disney experience :) before heading to California Screamin'. In the afternoon we had time to ride Star Tours twice, the first time I was selected as the rebel spy. We also got to ride Big Thunder Mountain, Autopia, Innoventions, Pirates of the Carribbean and Buzz Light Year. We had a nice dinner at Blue Bayou which overlooks the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. At night we had reserved seating for both the parade and fireworks. Both were excellent!
Goodbye to the beautiful Beverly Wilshire and hello Walt Disney. Down in Anaheim for the next 4 nights. Motel room not ready, so dump the suitcases and straight across the road to The Happiest Place On Earth. We finished up being able to get "Tomorrow Land" finished.
