      The day started a little earlier than most, as we had to be up at Sur la Table by 11.00am for a cooking class - Holiday Tapas. We started walking in -1C conditions but the temperature was up to 4C by the time we arrived, together with our fellow cooking class members, right on 11.00am.       Having been up for a while we decided food was our first stopping point so sat down in the restaurant booth to fuel up on an English breakfast and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. Even in first class I can report that the toast is still served coldish! From there we moved out into the glass atrium seating area and started with the first of many glasses of champagne to get the honeymoon off with a bang.
