Workin' hard in Indiantown
Sunday we were on the road by 7 a.m. and arrived at Indiantown at 3 pm to open up the bug balm in the cabin so we could work on the boat tomorrow. We stayed the next 4 nights with Paul & Linda LeDoux in their condo in Palm City near Stuart (thanks again you two) while we cleaned Savage up so we could move aboard and live on her while getting her ready to launch. Down town Stuart Adventures
... our car and get ready for the big cruise tomorrow. At the end of the street is a river lock that allows boats to transverse Florida which cuts off 200 miles of their travel. The difference in the river levels is 14ft and we got to see the lock in use. It is an amazing piece of engineering. Hopefully I get this published before we go on the cruise. Still in Lake Worth
... marina across from the anchorage for a couple days to top of their gas and water and do laundry. We'll do the same tomorrow.
We took the dingy over to Sea Camp for happy hour and it was so good to see them again. We met up with them at Great Sail Cay in the Abacos and again at Crab Cay and Marsh Harbor. They are also heading out weather permitting to Lauderdale and Miami and eventually the Exumas and hopefully Dominican Republic. (See pictures below)
