      ... was just delightful. We were chuffed that we could kind if say we've seen the Pope, the Italian PM and American president on this trip - at least cars containing the latter two. We caught the ferry in the Hudson River. It's a big river and it was a bit choppy probably due to the wind. There were few passengers which was good for moving around taking photos.       ... with ourselves that we went straight to the hotel and did not get lost once !
      We really just wandered around after checkin as there was so much to see and Time Square just gets busier as the night goes on (1,000,000 people by 5 pm) - it really has to be seen to be believed.

      ... got on the 3.48pm train back to Pennsylvania Station and New York. We got a seat, but it ended up quite crowded, and people were standing up as the train picked up more along the line.       ... you something. Again, best way to avoid it is to just look the other way! I also got to buy a very delicious vanilla cupcake from the famous Magnolia Bakery. It was heaven! It was light, tasty and had lots of buttercream icing on the top with sprinkles! I recommend this to anyone visiting NYC... Go get yourself a cupcake, they are worth eating! I was a bit naughty today though... I already ate two walnut muffins at breakfast. Plus the vanilla cupcake... ...
