What a difference a day makes. Merely 12 hours after bathing in a geothermal spa in a virtually uninhabited area of Iceland, we arrive at JFK. Horrible, ominous black clouds gather overhead as the pass through security, a much less painless experience than I had anticipated. As we leave the airport, the clouds burst. My god it rained.
