The Essex Inn (How funny!) could NOT find our booking! After several attempts, a purchased phone card, and a call back to our holiday provider (out of hours assistance) we discovered that the hotel had been fully booked and that we'd been upgraded to very swanky digs (Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel).
