          ... lot. It did take my lungs a few days to get used to the air quality, not helped by the hangover of a cold and a cough I'd carried over from Louisiana and Texas.

          It was lovely, quite lovely, to be picked up from LAX by P. I like my own company and relished the challenge of navigating my way around new cities on my own. But to be picked up and looked after was also welcome, and particularly by my friend.

          ... time I was told 7:30am, but the person sounded unsure and said they might call me back later to amend the time.           ... Kodak Theatre). Without even looking for it we found the best view of the Hollywood sign from the back of the centre.
          The tour @ $20 each plus tip, was in a 10 seater open van with headphones to hear the driver. He said they are given a general outline of the tour then they can tailor it to suit themselves. He was very good, a dry sense of humour and good facts. It even ended up as a 2 hour tour.
