... all hooked up by 4:45PM in the KOA in Granite City, IL. Once settled and Bruiser had been walked we fulfilled our "commitment" to relax and have a drink before dinner! On to grilled cheeseburgers, tomatoes from our backyard, and carrots. Instead of the usual burger buns, we used Ann M.'s bread. Nothing beats homemade sourdough bread! Thanks for the loaf, Ann!

... to the bridge that was built on a 'dog leg' over the narrowest part of the river. The bridge was built on a 'dog leg' as the contractor who built the bridge could not buy land on immediate opposite sides of the river.
