Today another great morning. Had breakfast at the lodge and were on the road by 8. We wanted to go to Bo's Hollow today first and then Akers 2 car ferry because Bo's was only 3 miles from the lodge. Bo's did not open until 10 so we ran over to Akers car ferry first and then back tracked to Bo's. The ferry had a toll of $4 and I was the only one that put my car on. ... kiosk – so we read the menu over and over again, not understanding a lot of the American terms for things, and eventually we got to the front and ordered. It was awesome, and huge. Their small was enough to fill me up – and that is saying something! I saw kids with large ones – don’t know how they would finish them! Lisa got her Sundae in a baseball batting helmet, with a B on the front! It is so cute!

... again ended up in long conversations with the friendly attendants there.

The story repeats itself through multiple towns, pontiac being a real highlight, with its 66 museum and murals painted over the town, it was clear the amount of effort they were putting in to draw people in, considering if you took the interstate, you wouldn't even see that these towns exist.

The major problem though, was that the ...
