Today we have been living in America nearly 2 months, give or take a few days. Some days it feels like so much longer and some days it still feels like we are here on holiday. We've had some up and down moments over the last month, mainly down to the reality that this is not just a holiday and we are here to stay has sunk in. The novelty of not having our furniture and belongings has well and truly dispersed. To start with camping in the house felt fun, now it's just frustrating ...

left early and nice ride through mountains and into the valley east of the coast. riding started to get very hot in the valley but soon as we came to frisco it turned foggy and cold.

bridge and daft roads, what a laugh.

Lombard street was cool, a possession of cars waiting to drive down a very windy road with loads of tourists taking photos of you.

        so we did the same.

had to leave city to find accommodation which was expensive.

We made the short hop to Sunnyvale using the mountainous State Route 17 from Santa Cruz. Sheila, Darlene's high school girlfriend, was in her front yard, hoping to see our trailer roll around the corner, but we had left it at the Sunnyvale Elks. Later we introduced Trevor and Sheila to our trailer, which we are attempting to call HOWL. They were amazed that you can get so much in a ...

... for with characters (the gun collector who collected 13,000 guns and was buried in a mausoleum in the museum with his guns for example). In vegas you can see plenty of shows and all sorts of other attractions, I can appreciate why some Americans don't ever leave the US. I'm ambivalent as I think they should see other places and what they offer, but it would increase the chances of them being on the same road as me in future. - you really can spend whole days eating ...
