Early morning swim before we headed out to Perk Eatery (from Diners, Drive in's & Dives) fab meal. On to the nail bar at Walmart for me to get new gel nails, kids to get sweets for friends and then Jon to purchase a kindle. Everyone's happy. A Starbucks stop for a Mocha frappachino then home to the condo.

We spent the afternoon in the pool (there was a pool party going on) in the sun before a Taco Bell dinner.

... evening we headed west to Joe and Elizabeth's for dinner. A great dinner- Homemade soup, fried asparagus, a corn salad and lemon Chicken with wine! Three hours later we were home to relax but it was a good evening. February 20th- Wednesday- A good night sleep and blueberry pancakes for breakfast. It is pouring rain and I still have 2 leaks to plug! We stayed home all day - to wet and cold (43 degrees) to do anything. But we planned to go to Scuttlebutt's for dinner ...

... mountain Park. As we climbed steadily from the parking area we watched the parade of jets float lazily down to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

Then as we reached the summit we dropped slightly down into the central valley plateau and lost sight of the urban bustle of Tempe and Pheonix around us. About 1.5 miles from the trailhead, we came to the signed junction to Hidden Valley. Almost ...
