... any gifts for the kids yet so a shopping expedition is getting higher and higher on the list.

And so it goes. But please don't read this entry as a complaint. We are so lucky to have our wonderful, comfortable home here. Yes, it demands upkeep and when we leave for an extended period of time is shouldn't come as a surprise to us that things need attention.

We are looking forward to the fast approaching holidays, but now need to take care of business!

... around the shops and stopped for a coffee and to open my birthday cards. It's so warm, it really doesn't feel like my birthday -apparently its snowing at home-Luton airport has had to close! Was lovely to open some cards. My best friend jess (who gave me a card in aug-that's ridiculous planning!) always puts confetti in her cards-but for some reason, I forgot this.
