We're anxious to be on our way. Susie and Jerry Fry are driving us to the airport in the morning. Arrive (by way of Detroit) in Rome Sunday morning around 9:00 am. Thought we had the bags packed under weight to meet Air Malta's strict max size, etc. . Packed and repacked. We're cheating a little now because Delta's weight allowance is ...

I put up with it for about 2 hours, in which time I traveled 55 km (usually do at least 200 km in the same time span). A map check was required! We checked in to the hotel, changed and went down to the bar and sat watching the most incredible sun set over a white sandy beach. Beer,, wine, sunset and live music.... a wonderful end to a truly amazing ...

Night 7: Sanibel ER Sanibel has fantastic beaches and a pretty decent ER staff too. They didn't make me feel bad at all about getting two huge shots at the same time right up each butt cheek. And the beaches are fantastic, with soft whitish sand and minimal waves. And they give you steroids and pain killers, even though there is a $6 toll to get over the causeway. It is worth every penny. You haven't been to a beach like this. And they also pump ...

    Two Steps Ahead

... Knowledge of the future is undoubtedly important.

In the movie "Gattaca" (GTCA are the 4 letters that designate the 4 human DNA markers) ideas about genetic engineering are explored in great details. But another interesting angle that hasn't really been explored maybe correctly is how does all of this come about.

There are undoubtedly people among us with "the right stuff." Born winners. Unique snowflakes. They are exceedingly rare. ...
