    My first full Rhode Island day - Newport

    ... to the car. Felt slightly drained after a full day of sun but was totally worth it seeing Newport it's beautiful. Chilled for a bit when I got in then paul & Ray made a lovely home cooked meal of pork with potato salad & broccoli! Was so good to have some home cooked food and especially I missed my broccoli so was amazing to eat some veg!! Then a chilled evening resting my full belly was in order ready for another packed Rhode Island day ...

    ... me on a long drive round the town so I could see providence a bit before we headed out. We were making a pit stop by his daughters as its his granddaughters birthday party. Before that he took me to the American equivalent of pound land which was dollar tree! Literally everything was a dollar so basically 50p! I stocked up yet again on sweets but not for me this time!
