Probably a few years before CIA meant Central Intelligence Agency it meant Culinary Institute of America. When I was a kid we had family on my father's side who lived in the Hudson Valley not too far from Hyde Park. I began liking to cook already at a pretty young age and was fascinated by the big building we passed on Route 9 north of Poughkeepsie that I was told was a college for chefs.

The photos on Insta show the ridiculous pizza we got (thought sharing a meal would reduce the waste). Wine ...

A travel blog entry by heavenonearth on Oct 08, 2014

This was a very nice little town on the border on Connecticut and New York. It was so noce we almost stayed for the winter. The problem was that it was down in a valley so getting out of the valley with icy roads would have been a problem. During the summer there was the Houstonic River that ran along side the town. This place was beautiful during the fall. Also saw Bull's Covered Bridge. Too bad they did not have a campground ...

The set list just about the same as the previous night, but in the encore they play That Moom was Low (a newie) but not the two all time greats You Can't be too Strong and Hey Lord Don't Ask Me Questions Don't ask me why either!

I say Au revoir to Robin, she is leaving the ...
