We had a beautiful warm summer day to do a 50 mile cruise down a section of the Hudson River. The Catskill Mountains were in our western view most of the way. We took on about 120 gallons of Valvtech Diesel about halfway. While swimming in the refreshing pool we met a nice couple on the Rainbow Connection from Coxackie NY. They brought us fresh made brownies and pleasant conversation after dinner. ...

Drove to FDR's home, museum and Presidential library. Along the way saw Bannerman's Castle. He was a munitions dealer in the 1940's. Drove through Sleep Hollow, NY but no Ickabod.

... stop til 10pm. We saw a few momma and baby deer, the breeze kicked up, the temps fell, the terrian became smoother, a full moon is out, and we found an awesome campsite - on top of a ridge that over looks New York City! They are having a few fire works shows that are coloring the skies in a gorgeous red/blue/yellow and green colors. I lit off a few of my own fireworks, from the overlook - but they did not compare to the real ones from the city. I managed to get ...

I could easily name 20 more. I hope that I can see more of our beautiful country and go back to some of the places to explore them even more.
