    ... I've never even driven anywhere far---not Dallas, San Antonio or Austin, so this was definitely a first for me. I'm sure my dad wasn't too happy but I guess he trusted me enough to at least drive safely so he let me go. My brother also has been dying to go on a vacation so as soon as he found out we were doing a roadtrip to Florida he decided to come along, now I only have to drive half of the trip (whew.)

    ... finished we were qualified to administer CPR, we learned how to use the AED (portable defib), we could do the Heimlich maneuver, treat jelly fish stings, remove fish hooks, be more aware of carbon monoxide poisoning, treat minor injuries and splint broken bones. It was a great course that we are so very glad was available to us.
