Well that's my excuse anyway.

Mike has a house in one of the hottest places on earth and even though he has lived here for about fifteen years, he ...

... It's only now, as I sit in my parent's house in my old room that I am able to take a breath and reflect on the last few weeks of my glorious adventure.

I couldn't have asked for a more fulfilling journey. There were plenty of ups and downs, and unexpected twists and turns, but this pause in life has served me well in a variety of ways. As I mentioned in my last entry, I am sure that many of these gems remain unnoticed and dormant, waiting to surprise ...

... her dog Dakota and then got ready to go out in the evening. We went to Rustler's Rooste a real American steak house with waiters in stars and stripe shirts and stetsons. We met Dave and Lynne, friends of John who had given us a lot of advice for our Vegas trip. A lovely evening. I drove for most of the day so got used to the truck but only drove on the left once. It can be scary giving your life over to ...
