Chose this for the spacious suite and full breakfast. Typical Residence Inn stay with all the needed amenities. Enjoyed the breakfast and the nice surroundings while appreciating the great price when staying near the airport.

Immediately upon landing, we hunted down the closest hiking trail - in South Mountain park , a scant 10 minute drive from the airport.

My ambitious plans involved a 1.5 hr sunset hike. After the first 10 minutes I was huffing and panting and begging for the trail to end. A steady upward climb was a very different beast from the flatter …

I fixed meatloaf for dinner. So really a lazy day—

... a very nice sports bar just a few blocks from the arena.

The game was dominated in the first half by Florida, but Louisville stormed back with 3 point shooting and defense and eventually pulled it out in the closing minutes, earning a birth in the Final Four. This was our first NCAA Tournament game, the atmosphere was nice and our seats had a great ...

Dec 2-I had expected to do some shopping and pick up my meds, but never did get out of the house. The papers I need for the book from Phil arrived today and now I need to get them typed, and I did spell and grammar check today and has lots of little things to fix, and I know I did ...

After that we had dinner and headed to the bus to go back to the hotel and the boys almost got ran over by a scooter...looking forward to going to a town with no cars ...
