    ... we met Gary and Sharon at the Pig—AKA Waldo’s BBQ for a good dinner. We had a double order of ribs and they were good. Beautiful blue and warm day. Jack San Felice called and we will get with him tomorrow at his home in Mesa. He is the father to the police sergeant Russell that we met in Jerome last week.

    9:00am the next day it was time for a big drive out to the Grand Canyon, with a stop by the Colorado river. This is where they had shot a lot of the famous scenes of Transformers. This was also where we were changing from the state of Nevada to Arizona.
