    ... There was rotation and a possible touch down about 5 miles from where we are.  We also saw that there had been very strong winds with wind damage and flooding in Decatur!  I guess it came right in behind us as we drove through.  The Lord was surely with us today.  We did not drive through anything severe or any high winds, and we didn't have any high winds at a campsite.  Thank YOU Lord ...

    ... to go over thru the gate and hang a left. So we did----almost. The left lane to get in is for cars, not motorhomes. No sign to that effect that we saw anyhow.

    We stopped at the "American Gothic House" roadside attraction. It is the house that inspired the famous painting by Grant Wood in 1930. The actual house is rented out and the visitor center was closed so we didn't get a pitchfork in our picture. Darn it!     ... I enjoyed it. When the play was beinging I saw the sent it was kind of weird how they set it up with two long strips of blue ribbon and red ropes. Looking at it I did not know what to think it seemed like a little play park. But as the play began and I noticed that it was a boat scene and they were experience a storm setting. I like how ISU show cased the setting and how they brought this storm until alive with the sound, and ...
