    We stopped at the "American Gothic House" roadside attraction. It is the house that inspired the famous painting by Grant Wood in 1930. The actual house is rented out and the visitor center was closed so we didn't get a pitchfork in our picture. Darn it!     ... I enjoyed it. When the play was beinging I saw the sent it was kind of weird how they set it up with two long strips of blue ribbon and red ropes. Looking at it I did not know what to think it seemed like a little play park. But as the play began and I noticed that it was a boat scene and they were experience a storm setting.
