Disney Disney Disney! So another day of airports and the flying in the morning but once we got to the Wyndham resort we vegged by the pool in the sun for the afternoon doing not much replenishing our energy for tomorrows disney adventure! After speaking to the guys at the hotel we decided to stay and explore Disney for 2 full days now instead of one as we never realized how many parks it's actually made up of!!! So first day of Disney bring it on! So we ...

But we had to leave so we walked as quickly as possible to the monorail but we got literally soaked to the skin as it was raining so heavily. If only I hadn't left the ponchos in the car!!! Also the water at the front of the park was running downhill and forming huge puddles which we had to wade through up to our ankles so our feet and shoes ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Residence Inn Orlando at SeaWorldR
A great place to stay!
My friend and I stayed at this hotel in July, 2003. We had tickets to Discovery Cove and SeaWorld and the hotel's location was ideal. There's plenty of parking. The front desk staff was really friendly; we had a studio suite and when we asked for their best room of this type, they gave us a room from which we could see the SeaWorld fireworks each night. The room was perfect. Good size, immaculate and decorated very nicely. It's always nice to have a kitchen and this one had everything.
The room price also includes a buffet breakfast each morning and that was really convenient and a time-saver before heading out for the day.
I travel quite a bit and this is one of the nicest hotels in which I've stayed. I would highly recommend it if you are going to visit Seaworld/Discovery Cove.
So wonderful, we came back!!
We stayed here with our aunt and our 2 year old in June. When our vacation to Viriginia Beach last month was cancelled due to the hurricane, we decided to go back to Orlando. I called around and no one could accomodate us with a 2 bedroom suite without paying an arm and leg. We quickly called back to the Residence Inn and were well please once again. We will NOT ever consider staying anywhere else in Orlando.
It is convenient and the cleanest rooms we have ever had. We loved the pool for our 2 year old. We did not have to worry about her falling down steps. We will definitely be back!
Thanks Renaissance for a trip to remember
Sept 5, 6, & 7 I took my son and his family to SeaWorld in Orlando. We stayed at the Renaissance Inn at Sea World. It was right across the street from the park. We stayed on the executive floor with a balcony overlooking the Atrium. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the rooms were nice and clean. I really can not say enough about the service at this hotel. My son participated in the shark dive at Sea World and had to receive medical attention because of all the water in his ears. When I called the first aid line the hotel staff was in our room immediately. I wasn't sure what we needed to do or where to go.
The hotel staff took care of everything. They took us to the emergency room and picked us up when we were finsihed. I really do not know what we would have done without them. This will be a trip I will never forget. Renaissance Orlando Resort is a GREAT place to stay.
Absolutely Fabulous!!
We live in Orlando area. Had to find the best hotel for renovations on new home. This place is it! Staff at breakfast ALWAYS went out of their way. If kids could not eat breakfast downstairs, Mercades would always give me a box to take the food upstairs to the children. Pool is beautiful with pizza right there to order and pool bar.Rooms always clean and hotel brand new. Cannot say enough about staff!! They must really drill them on hospitality!! Trust me I stayed here 1 month, IF THERE WAS ANYTHING WHAT SO EVER WRONG WITH THIS HOTEL, BELIEVE ME I WOULD HAVE SEEN IT.Our sister-in-law came to visit few times while we stayed here, she lives in Orlando. Guess where she vacationed at while on vacation? You guessed, here in this hotel! It's that great! You will love it, I know my family did.
"WONDERFUL"
We stayed here with our 15 year old daughter and her friend in the one bedroom suite. The hotel is awesome!!! You get a full HOT breakfast buffet, social hour M-Th and the rooms are beautiful & very clean. The pool was great!! the staff was very nice & cared about your needs. We would DEFINITLY stay here again!!! Highly recomended!!!
Fun for ALL!
Took my granddaughter (age 6) to see Disney/Sea World. Best Part!!! The pool - very kid friendly...what a great concept - Pizza Hut - so handy when you've spent the day (very long extremely hot day) at a Park - just want to relax by the pool and have a cook drink. Very convenient to everything. Had some communication difficulties with some staff members, just have to remember, talk to the front desk personnel. Buffet - FREE! - very handy...quite good...would definitely stay there again, and again, and again. Stayed 3 days middle of May.
Excellent-We loved It!
I stayed at the Residence Inn over Easter holiday this spring. The hotel was lovely, the front desk clerks were super nice and professional. The rooms were totally awesome with every amenity you would need. Large refrigerators, sink, popcorn popper and even complimentary popcorn! We had a two room suite with a sofabed in the living room and 2 double beds in the bedroom. There was a television in each room. There was also a large table off the kitchen for eating or playing cards. The room was immaculate! The hotel offered a huge free buffet breakfast with eggs, pancakes, cereal, fruit, bagels, everything! Just get there on time - they shut it down promptly at 9:00am! There's a large swimming pool, basketball court and small arcade for the kids. The hotel was conveniently located to Sea World - you could walk if you don't want to pay the $7.00 to park every day. We opted to drive, but the location made it possible for us to want to go back to Sea World for the Shamu Rocks America evening show!I made my reservation directly on the Sea World website and they offered a great package at the Residence Inn. We loved Sea World and would definitely stay at the Residence Inn again.
Great place to stay
The one-bedroom suite was great deal for our family of four traveling with one grandparent. The hotel is clean, sunny, and nicely decorated in a Caribbean style. The heated pool, with fanciful, water-spitting statues, was a hit, as was the playground (complete with basketball court). We enjoyed the hot breakfast, although the quality was about what you would get in a college cafeteria. (The same type of food at a character breakfast at a Disney resort was much better.) All in all, we would not hesitate to return.
Very nice rooms!!!
We were pleasantly surprised at our rooms. They offered a full new extremely clean kitchen, and a separate bedroom. The staff were excellent! The breakfast was free, it was served buffet style. The selection was good, and very nicely displayed. The staff was constantly cleaning and replenishing the buffet. The hotel is not within walking distance of many activities but a very short car drive away from shopping, restaurants, etc.. This hotel is located in a very nice new area. The pool is very large and beautiful. I would say this is a great hotel for the money!!!
Perfect in every way
My family enjoyed our stay at Residence Inn Seaworld this past Christmas. Everything was beautiful. The Christmas decorations were fantastic and the buffet breakfast was appreciated greatly, especially the convenience of a quick hot breakfast before a long day at the theme parks. We stayed a total of 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed every day of our stay. The amenities were perfect for us and being centrally located was a bonus too, as we went to all the major theme parks, eg. Disney World, Universal, and Sea World. Definately will return to the Residence Inn Sea World whenever we return to the Orlando area.
