We all have grown up fantasies and Fairy tales and always wondered how it would be to be in a fairy land or the Magic World. My dreams seemed to have come true , only a bit late in life! Well i am walking into the third decade in my life but still excited about going to the Disney World Orlando.

In the afternoon went to wet n wild and had another go on some rides. I carefully stayed out of the sun to give the sunburn chance to heal.

all told a lazy day .... but a nice one. Also had some chocolate covered pretzels... yum yum...

... celebrating our 5 yr. wedding anniversary! It was so nice to be near the beach, relaxing on our porch swing, and doing absolutely nothing! Our next 'big hooray' was a few months later, in July, when we both celebrated our birthdays! Aaron and his friend Frank went to a Zappa Plays Zappa concert and then we spent the rest of the weekend acting like children at Islands of Adventure & Universal Studios. A few weeks later ...

... all was 'The Revenge of the Mummy'. This was awesome as a special effects plus animatronics in a spinning, twisting and flying ride. What was clever is that you could leave your bags in lockers that were fingerprint recognised. Neat. Not quite as busy as Disney but some good rides, most of which involved 3D and getting wet! We enjoyed the Orlando area but it is definitely mostly for kids (and those with flexible backbones and limbs !!!). It was great to have experienced the Disney magic.

... I looked over at my mom and she was crying too! She said it was the Lion King scene that did it for her since she loves that movie. So Mickey's Philharmagic had us all in tears. Now that's magic. Then we watched a video recap of the first Shrek film before the videos and animatronics of the Three Little Pigs, Pinocchio, and the Gingerbread Man told us some jokes. ... on stage and put on a little show. They had a big tower of boxes that they were carrying around, and at one point they fell and one hit a guy in the front row on the head! He definitely looked surprised. Then a guy in his twenties ran down from the upper level seating and ran onto the stage, pretended to squeeze his nose and made a honking sound, ran around the confused looking clowns, and then ran back up to his seat while everyone clapped. the 4 of us went to universal studios. rode the earthquake,and hanna barbera. jaws was there but not open yet. it was fun. i like looking at the universal pictures of how much the globe thing has changed over the years. i wonder how they came up with that.
