Mi, full of energy, was always leading the way by a good 20 feet. Whereas for me, I was taking my time, savoring the landscape and taking pictures. After a good 45 minutes, we were halfway up the mountain. Looking down was tempting but I was here to reach a goal and up, I will go. Un dimanche au Mont Tremblant avec Édouard et François...
Pour la petite anecdote, j'étais au lycée (en seconde) avec Édouard, et je l'ai recroisé complètement par hasard à Montréal! Le monde est petit! Bref, il est en PVT pour un an à Montréal avec son pote François. Ça fait bien plaisir, ils sont devenus des bons potes, qui vivent à deux pas de chez nous en plus!

Aujourd'hui, nous avons loué une voiture ...

I've never been anywhere like the village of Mont Tremblant before. It's some weirdly clean, very tourist orientated, colourful collection of shops and facilities, on the mountain, surrounded by some of the amazing Canadian scenery. On a rencontré des cerfs de Virginie, au moins 6, dont deux petits...! C'était trop cool!!! (J'ai toujours une pensée pour Moe et Tho quand je vois des animaux!!). Ne manquez pas les 3 videos!

Et puis après cette belle journée, on est rentrés a Montreal et on a fait quelques photos de nuit au belvédère du Mont Royal.

Most of this ski trip planning was left up to the other two couples. All I knew was to book Friday off and come straight home after work on Thursday because we were leaving for Québec right away. Thursday was a scramble, running downtown at lunch to get our skis rented while trying to juggle and sip scalding hot Thai soup take-out. Madly dashing around the house trying to stuff random warm clothes into my backpack. Senica was much more prepared, actually ...
