This is a good stopping point for our leg to Montreal. We stayed at the lock wall for the night. We enjoyed a cocktail hour with our cruising friends from the "Hoot" and the "Carrie Rose" up on the Mutual Fun's Lido deck. We traveled with them to the next lock too. The site is only remarkable because it is the largest hydro electric generating plant at an impressive 647 ...

We got a few things at Walmart on our way out as we were heading for another Park. It only took ...

Sadly we didn't get to meet 'Lou Lou' the wolf who lives at the shack she is on another farm for the time being.
We had a tour of the maple farm learning about how the syrup is made. ...

... the drive back to Ottawa. It just so decided to snow like **** on the drive back which converted our normal 2 hour drive to 3 and a half. This stressed Jenny out a little bit as she was having her welcome home party tonight.

We finally arrived in Ottawa at about 9:30 and luckily no one had turned up yet. The party got under way at about 11 and it was a true American Pie style "kegger" Imagine 3 kegs, red cups, ...
