Yesterday, we left Fredericksburg and drove to San Angelo. Today we left San Angelo, Texas to visit Midland and Odessa which are within 25 miles from each other. As we proceed to the west, we realize how diverse of a state Texas is. In the past 2 days of travel we have seen: cattle, sheep, goats, buffalo, horses, llamas and even oil jacks alongside the road. ... Stillness not overrated for sleeping. On ship TV played the first season of Game of Thrones and I watched them all. Still not fond of Ned's Death scene. So Monday everyone just hung out at the bar all day and then we went to the Captains reception. Hilarity ensued and had trouble not laughing too much. The Captain has a theme song they play when he walks in... like Hail to the Chief but with dramatic sailing ...

As usual just getting out of Midland is the most difficult part of the journey. Leave on time? if your not on Southwest, forget it. I have never been on a flight where the take off has been aborted. Just as we began to take off the pilot hit the brakes and aborted. If I had eaten breakfast it would have ...
