    So today was a roller coaster - lots of ups and downs. It started out great. We left Chicago and in 2 and a half hours or so, we were in Madison, Wisconsin.     ... a neat sight to see! I then joined Pamela to go to some fraternity parties while my mom relaxed and read a book. Overall,a pretty good day!

    Breakfast at the hotel was decent and even included latte from a machine. Caught the 7:45 a.m. bus to the airport, navigated several security stations, walked down to the gate at the end of terminal Z. Frankfurt airport has free, quite fast wi-fi which is a definite plus.

    ... a picture as it was freezing out. One week after we passed thru the i90 from Wyoming to Wall, they had to close the highway due to a severe blizzard and tornadoes. There was an average of 1 1/2' of snow and as much as 3' in some areas. Boy did we get lucky with the weather.
