The plane was pretty empty so I could put my seat back without feeling guilty! Got through four movies on the flight: Lincoln (boring), Argo (not boring), Taken (awesome), Taken 2 (not as awesome). So a bit ...

... water receded, there was a chance they were going to have to swim for it, head to the neighbor’s house, which has a third floor. I turned off football to watch CNN, to see Breezy Point, the "Irish Riviera," burn and hoped my mom had pulled the plugs on all the appliances in the basement. I flipped burgers and made French fries and tried not to spend too much time looking for updates on Facebook.

A childhood friend started a Facebook page ...
