... is very hard to walk anywhere without seeing a cop. Times Square actually has it's own police station. We went to Madame Tussauds this morning before lunch and enjoyed getting some good photos in there. We went for our lunch in a deli and had a very nice sandwich (shared again) we had to be back for 1430 at the hotel to get ready for our trip on board the river boat voyage. ... SO SO nice! She gave us our welcome packets and schedules for the weeks we were there and showed us around the down stairs quickly (we were getting a more proper tour of the house in the morning) and showed us to our rooms and told us to “rest up” because we have to be up early!

….GREAT! was the only thought going through my mind.. like I just was flying for hours and had a nightmare and a half at the airport, and I cant even sleep a full 8 ...

... in the sea. Saw lots of evidence of last years hurricane which destroyed houses and trees right across long island. Saw lots of jellyfish washed up and the temp of the sea was actually quite warm! We then drove back and all got an ice cream from their local shop and Ros cooked a great dinner for us all.
