      ... back! We were amazed at how clean LA was, we didn't see one piece of litter on the streets which is a real achievement when you think how big it is. The area itself around the beaches was unbelievably cool and classic LA, palm trees and neon lights everywhere, we loved it!       ... catch the bus! Had a nice lunch at an open air cafe and a walk along the high beach front before heading back to my hotel to prepare for my (hopeful) departure!       ... trailers up our backside, she tells us to cross 5 lanes ( on a 16 lane highway) and head in the opposite direction, as we found out later, due to major roadworks blocking the highway.
