      ... a 200 meter straight drop, ok it may not be that big a drop but it sure felt like it and yes I screamed my heart out. I really feel sorry for the lady in front of me. We went on the Monorail and even got to sit up the very front in the drivers cone. After more than 7 hours at Disneyland we decided it was time to go home.

      Tomorrow we drive to Vegas. Think we'll put $1 on red....who knows we may just win a million.

      Animals and the beach

      ... were trying to catch some fish that were trying there hardest to escape the big, sharp claws of the hungry bears.

      I continued walking through the mammal exhibits and there was a couple of animals I had never seen. Some of those animals were an armadillo, chimpanzee, an African hedgehog, a gorilla and a jaguar. There was so many animals to see but I was getting pretty hungry so I decided to have some lunch at the coffee shop.

      ... to Los Feliz which is a really quaint bohemian, hip little suburb, where Rick found some great vintage clothes for Lucia a a little something for myself.

      Dinner at the cut this evening ( we made it this time). Very nice wagu beef. We managed to turn down the offer of a night cap with Stephen, which was very controlled of us, then off for an early night as we wanted to leave early next morning for our drive to Dessert ...

      ... it was the last flight of the eve, just transferring us to the next one would be the next day, and make us miss our connecting bus to the train. Thus, I had to scramble to find a last-minute direct flight.

      With only $9 back from Jet Blue, I ended up booking an early morning Delta flight into Vancouver. My best friend deposited us at the airport before she went to work, and we landed safely in Vancouver, 5 hours before train boarding.
