... we drove into into LA we passed through Pasadena at around 2.30 pm. Its very smoggy and obvious we are back in the big smoke. Arrived in LA at the hotel at 3.00 pm, we had to wait about half an our before we could get into our room. Finally we are at our end destination, Andrew grabbed our stowed bag and we kicked back on the deck above the swimming pool in LA at 4.00 pm. ... and then the Bellagio for its ones, but the traffic was so atrocious that by the time we got to the valet drop-off at the Bellagio W was asleep and we figured the wait to get our car would be over-long - so we just drove back, seeing some of the display from the car window. Chilled by what I consider to be the best pool in vegas for a bit but was to hot so booked a daybed for the next day to escape the heat

We're enjoying the luxury of castle Excalibur here in Vegas. Going to a dinner show in about half hour...swords , horses, jousting, duels, and a meal served without utensils..hands only medieval feast.
Nay goes to the dungeon afterwards to play arcade games, we're going to the slide pool, sometime later we'll walk the strip to see the glitter ...
... Palazzo Casino. Kept wandering up the street until the buildings appeared to run out and what was ahead did not look interesting. The landscape outside the main casino area is very barren and you can see there have been a number of buildings demolished over recent years.
