      ... the Marina. It's a slower pace on foot, we can't cover as much distance with our muscle moaning legs, running was well and truely out of action, waiting for the walk man at the crossing seemed a much more pleasurable rest for once. Taking a body stop at the marina beach, for a fluid refreshment, mine being the tasting and testing of the amaretto, mixing it in my sprite bottle.       ... of home runs in the last innings or so, but the atmosphere was brilliant. VERY family friendly, lots of fun and cheering, and we even all got little drums to bang at certain tense times during the battle. The food was outrageous - pretzels as big as Sams head, and a full sized plastic baseball helmet full of nachos, not to mention beer, wine and spirits readily available.       Left Toronto yesterday arrived at LAX taxi to the Crowne Plaza Beverley Hill's (sounds flash) organised trip for today.       ... So, essentially I was offered a free upgrade, but they were unable to accommodate me there :(
      It was a bit annoying that my seat neighbors (I had an aisle seat) had to get up every half hour to stretch their legs. But the two Romanian girls doing a one-week-roadtrip through California were nice. Not very talkative though, that was about all the information I got from them.

      ... a bit! Though I think our favourite part of the day was the universal tour around the sets and studios. For this you stayed in a cat the whole time but it was full of surprises and stunts, we loved it so much we did it twice!
