Stayed at Independence, Missouri about 10 minutes from Kansas City.
Kansas City confused us when using the gps as half of the city is in the Missouri State and other half in Kansas.
This Presidential Library and Museum is very well done, and does an excellent job of not only showing how many MAJOR decisions had to be made by President Truman, immediately after he took office...but also puts YOU in the position of making decisions in interactive displays. Definitely worth the visit!
We got there around 2:30 or so, and before we knew it, it was 5 pm and the museum was closing!
