Upon arrival back in Waikiki I sat by the pool for a little bit before heading down the beach to my final surf lesson. I wanted to squeeze in one more lesson on the new size surf board. Today I finally started to figure out the weight balance on this board so it didn’t stall (or nosedive if I weighted too far forward!) so that was a fun lesson. ... We screamed a bit but laughed a lot. It was that hot we were dried out in 5mins. Next was the Hollywood hotel horror ride. Very creepy and I lost my stomach, I still have not found it. ... terminal. From here all was easy and we just had 4 hours to kill. This was achieved with having dinner on our remaining food of apples, muesli bars & pastries; changing our clothes & working on laptops & cameras. I love how they have power points between the chairs in the lounges (& that I remembered to include the American plug with the laptop).
The flight leaves at 10:10 pm so we are hoping for some sleep on board.
... everyone was pretty hungry. HST had arranged an Italian place to eat at the Grove. We were reunited there with the peepz from the full program who already had a place at the massive tables they reserved for us. The food was pretty good, however glad we've asked for different main dish otherwise there would've not been anything vegetarian.
