We mooched around the duty free shop and the perfumerie (came out smelling like a couple of cheap floozies), then we went to dinner at the Tsar main dining room. ...

Weather is a broken record, cloudy with a threat of rain. About an 80% threat of rain this afternoon. So we made plans for the morning.

First, we go downtown to Bayou Bend Collections and Gardens. It was the home of the daughter and sons of the first Texas native governor. His last name was Hogg. The sons were Michael, William, and James. The daughter was given a family name, Ima. Our guide on the tour ...

Next stop was some rockets that we could walk around. The best was the Saturn 5 rocket that was lying on its side. It took 5+ minutes to walk the length and back. It’s a really big rocket. We found our way but it was impossible to drive back as a tree had fallen onto the road. We eventually found a connecting street (thanks to matt) and finally made our way home.

Finished packing, then checked out of the KC Coyale Hotel. Justin and his girlfriend, Silvia, pulled up at 10:01 for the trip to the airport. We departed the hotel at 10:07. The trip to SJO took 23 minutes. We passed through one toll plaza on Costa Rica 1 – cost was 75 colones (15 cents). SJO is located right next to the highway, so we were at the departures hall a minute after exiting.

We bid farewell to Silvia, who ...
