... Bookmobile, as well. Huge canvas totes from L.L. Bean carry all the books and supplies we'll need for the next seven weeks. Hours on the road will afford us plenty of time to feast on our collection of living books (history, nature, geography, math, biography), Scripture, poetry, literature, fine art pictures, and great composers' music thanks to our Charlotte Mason style of home education.

The Mojos packed up and hit the trail! A quick 4 mile round trip hike up Provin Mountain to see the sights!
On the way up, we stopped to admire the cliffs and saw two hikers up on the south side. An exchange of waves led one of the hikers to yell out: "my friend, Jesus loves you today!". We thanked him and went on our way.

We take Hightway 1 along the coast which is the scenic route. For lunch we stop at Josh's place in Maine for Lobster Rolls - they were so good. Maine is known for its lobster!
We visit Fort Knox State Historic Site in Maine. Fort Knox was built after the 1812 war to protect the Penobscot River from invading English. The fort was amazing.
