After another tasty cold breakfast, we packed up to leave. Jerry was still not feeling well, so tried to nap while I went out to get genuine cashmere street scarves for stocking and christmas swap gifts. Another grey cold day but still in 40s! When I got back, we left room,my heckled out and jerry got the car to head home. Traffic was brutal again ...

After a few hours rest ( we both were still dragging), we headed out to w52 to ...

... estates indescribable. Ken got his handle on the car and the travel being on the wrong side making a nice trip out to Windsor. We checked into the hotel, had a leisurely lunch in a local restaurant, got a few provisions for our trip, then headed back to the hotel for a quiet afternoon and a repack of the suitcases to make it easier for the one night stops we have planned through to Niagara Falls. Will update you again as we continue on our travels. Love to you all Chris & ...

... than a destination in itself. The city has a very industrial look about it and isn’t very inviting-looking from I-91 on the way to Vermont and New Hampshire. So why go?

Well, I have a National Parks pass and there’s an NPS unit in Springfield. The Springfield Armory National Historic Site was the first U.S. armory manufacturing firearms since the early 1800s. The armory closed in the 1960s but reopened as a historic site in 1978 and ...
