      ... called the desk for Internet access code; I could hear the clerk but he couldn't hear me), and the coffee maker didn't work. But the room was clean, and the service was good--when the phone didn't work, the clerk came dashing down to our room to make sure we were all right. Breakfast a vast improvement over Travelodge.

      It's hard to believe how quickly all of this has happened. I got my teaching certification the middle of January, went to the international teaching conference the beginning of February, and was officially offered the job in Bahrain by the beginning of March!

      ... on the girls!

      The Air France airbus was wonderful!!! We each had our own TV screen with tons(!) of selections, however, I never did figure out the remote control for the games. I watched The King's Speech and enjoyed that. Then, I tried to get a little sleep. A 6 hour flight seemed like a piece of cake compared to China. We had cameras on the outside of the plane so we were able to see the sunrise from the air. Awesome!

      ... for yellow fever. It also has space for a number of other entries to help you keep track of all the shots you've had.

      There are some shots which last a lifetime -- others only last a few years. I thought yellow fever was lifetime, but it's only ten years, so I had to get that one again.

      For going overseas, I'd really recommend adding the Twinrix vaccinations as well which give lifetime coverage for ...
