    Next - Big Sven. Remember Sven? Well, Daddy has been keeping his eye out for a bigger Sven than the little clip-on Sven that Addy got at Michaels. And you know what?     Our first stop on the road to South America was an overnight in Dallas, Texas on Spencer's B-day. So, I scouted out a famous BBQ place that was close to the airport and our hotel - Hard Eight Texas BBQ was it! We ordered a tray of meat - seriously. We chose a sampler tray of different meat including; beef brisket, chicken jalapeno poppers, spicy sausage, and some beef skewers plus we added corn on the cobb. Everyone's favorite was the beef ...

    ... hats and boots. This all felt a lot more genuine than the Fort Worth Stockyards. Being international guests at the show also gave us access to a special lounge offering free drinks and snacks as well as free daily entry to the show for the whole month it was on. It really did pay to be English!     ... instead of raccoon road kill, I saw a dead armadillo on the side of the road! We crossed into Texas, where, of course, there were lots of cows and ranches.
